Philadelphia-based food stylist available for freelance projects.

Karen Ferries learned the ropes of food styling by assisting two top food stylists, Heidi Johannsen-Stewart and Stephana Bottom, in New York City on photo shoots. From there, she went on to work in Daniel Boulud’s flagship kitchen, Restaurant Daniel, in Manhattan.

Years later, Karen launched an upscale catering company called The Cocktail Party Chef that specialized in hors d’oeuvres and creative food presentations. Her love for displaying appetizers inspired this personal work.

In 2023, Karen was selected as an “Artist Spotlight” by Focus on Women.
